BCSO searching for sex offender

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in finding two men wanted for unrelated offenses, including one who failed to register as a sexual offender.
BCSO public information officer Ruth Sasser said a warrant has been issued for Matthew Timothy Bennett, 27, for failing to register as a sex offender. He is believed to be in the St. Andrews area.
Sasser said Bennett drives a black Dodge Dakota mini-truck with a Michigan tag, AEL 8094. Anyone with information about Bennett can call the Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700 or CrimeStoppers at 785-TIPS.
In an unrelated case, investigators are looking for Travis Sinclair Thomas, 29, of Thomaston, Ga. He also goes by the name “Polo.” Thomas is wanted on charges of robbery by snatching, burglary and grand theft.
