
Two armed men came to a Jackson County home Friday night and demanded money, Jackson County authorities said in a news release. One man held a handgun on the resident at a home on Highway 162 while his partner used an unknown long gun, Jackson County Sheriff’s investigators said. The victim gave the men an undetermined amount of money and they fled. Investigators are now looking for two white males. One was about six-feet tall, wore glasses, a black jacket and blue jeans. Panama City Police investigators are searching for a suspected robber. The suspect is a 165 pound black man between the ages of 25 and 30 who was wearing grey hoodie and black seat pants during the Friday night incident. Investigators said the man came to Steak House Distributing on Chestnut Avenue, produced a handgun and demanded money from the victim. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators said. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call 872-3112.
