Coastal Community Bank was the victim of a burglary earlier this week. The suspects made off with two green rocking chairs that were sitting in front of the Panama City Beach branch, according to an incident report from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
They left behind two other green rocking chairs. Each chair is valued at $300, according to the incident report.
Bank officials waited a few days to report the burglary because they wanted to make sure no employee had borrowed the chairs. While the bank does have security cameras, they were pointed at other things, like the vault, instead of at these rocking chairs, employees said.
The case is under investigation.
