A deputy is sent to the probation office to deal with a man who says his female roommate stole his stuff when she was supposed to be on a liquor run.

The deputy says the complainant “is known to  me due to prior complaints at his residence where several individuals were taken to Detox and (he) himself was intoxicated to the point that he could not stand.”

The man reports that he gave his female roommate money to buy liquor.

“She had to walk to the store so he provided her with a backpack to carry the liquor,” the deputy wrote. “He stated she never returned from the store.”

The man reports he later realized his checkbook was in the bag, which caused him  concern, but luckily for him his female roommate showed back up the next day.

“He asked her about the backpack,” the deputy wrote. “She stated she would return it later. At that point he left the residence to eat with some friends.”

When he returned, the woman was gone, and so were more of his personal belongings.
