An off-duty deputy working security at a local Waffle House nabbed a bandit, according to an incident report from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputy observed the man as he entered the restaurant and noted that he appeared to be “overly interested” in tips left on the table. The deputy watched as the man walked over to a table and snag a $10 from a $15 total tip. The deputy got up told the man he had observed the theft and the man “stood up and said he would put it back.”
After he returned the money the deputy placed the man under arrest for petit theft.

What? Waffle Houses have to have security guards? I did not know they were so dangerous. I guess I won’t be taking my family there anymore.
