Dec. 4: Deputies respond to a domestic violence call to find a woman walking away from the area. She gets into the deputy’s car and accompanies him back to the residence, where her husband is found with blood on his head and shoulder. The deputy asks him what happened. “He stated that his wife had struck him in the head with a quart bottle of beer that was half full.” The deputy finds the remnants of the weapon. The wife goes go jail.

Dec. 4: A woman reports that her attempts to be a Good Samaritan with a drunken neighbor led to her becoming a victim of theft. She says a neighbor came by to hang out with her until another neighbor, the one he was looking for, came home. Every one eventually arrives and hangs out at the victim’s house instead. She “said everyone was drinking alcohol, and eventually (the suspect) became intoxicated. She said that he wanted to leave, but she would not allow him due to his level of intoxication.” The man eventually leaves, along with the woman’s cell phone and purse. The woman’s husband calls the cell phone, and the suspect answers, promising to return the phone. He did not. The victim contacted the suspect’s mother, who said she had not seen her son since the day before when he took her vehicle “to go get gas for it.”

Dec. 4: A man reports that he was arguing with his wife when she hit him in the head with her fist and scratched him. Deputies arrive to find the wife “very upset and very intoxicated.” The husband reports his wife becomes combative when drinking, thought he was having an affair, and “started throwing furniture around the house.” She is taken into custody.
